Position Description ? Sr. QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
? Understand business requirements and develop test cases
? Build, customize and configure tools for automating execution and
verification of results for various test efforts.
? Execute and test the functional scenarios for a test effort.
? Work with development, Business, QA, and Automation engineers to determine
root cause of batch job execution problems.
? Provide design documentation; participate in technical review for the test
automation projects.
? Must have excellent problem solving skills and be capable of breaking down
complex situations to discover and resolve root causes, this applies to both
technical issues and process issues.
? Provide metrics and project planning updates for the testing effort.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
? Experience of at least 8 years in testing including test case creation,
automation, execution and validation of results.
? At least 5 years of hands on experience in Quality Center
? 5 years of PL/SQL and Oracle experience.
? 5 years of Unix scripting
? Exposure to PL/SQL batch processing and Oracle Collections.
? Familiarity with mortgage business
? Excellent verbal communications and teaming skills.
? Due to nature of the effort flexibility to move between different sub
teams is a must
Nice to Have Skills:
? Experience of technically leading teams of 4-6 people is a big plus
? Familiarity with VB Script
? Autosys and Ab Initio experience is a big plus
? Familiarity with Doors
