Please see the job description listed below. Client is looking for mid to senior level candidates, at the most competitive rate. Please respond with qualified candidates -- full name, contact info, rate: $40/hr, & location. *Boston, Local candidates only!!! * *Position Summary:* Designs/Develops implements and supports data warehousing using Business Objects. Provides trouble shooting and issue resolution for all assigned deliverables. Implementation and performance tuning of the data warehouse and associated business intelligence tools. Supports Keane’s corporate production applications. Adheres to the documented software development life cycle, processes and best practices (standards). *General Responsibilities:* - Participate in the requirements analysis, definition, planning and implementation for Keane applications. - Make recommendations for reporting and data warehouse environment. *Specific Requirements:* - Development of applications utilizing the Business Objects – *Primary Skill* - Design of universes, reports, and dashboards following customer approved requirements. - Implementation and testing of universes, reports, and dashboards using *Business Objects XI (Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboard Manager, Xcelcius, etc…).* - Development of data warehouse documentation and standard procedures, including data flow diagrams to demonstrate source, transformation and target. - Experience working with remote team. *Required Skills and Abilities:* - Development and Reporting using Business Objects. - *ETL process development*. - Knowledge of programming and performance tuning. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. - Ability to work with a technical team comprised of internal and external resources. - Ability to plan and organize development work and deliverables. - Supports other Build Team members as required. - A wide degree of creativity and lateral thinking is expected. - Experience in working in a diverse, fast paced Application solution environment. - Stay current with required technologies. - Works with project management staff and the Team Manager to ensure proper task identification and estimates. - Shares technical knowledge or discoveries with the rest of the team. - Completes assigned *Production Support Tickets* in a timely manner. - Sets expectations with Customers, PM’s and Business Analysts as to delivery and status. - Will work directly with off-shore and on-site build/design staff as required. *Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:* - Minimum two (2) years of development experience working with Business Objects. - *Experience (preferably 2 years) using ETL*. - Very good English language skills (both written and spoken).
