We have an urgent requirement for " Java/J2EE Developer " consultants with
one of my clients. Please find the details and the complete job description

Position: Java/J2EE Developer
Duration: 6+ months to C2H
Location: Boston , MA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Provide business analysis and design support for a web-based procurement /
solicitation management application
.Provide application support in an environment that includes J2EE,
Hibernate, Struts, Beans, Oracle 9i, Weblogic
.Acknowledge, investigate and resolve reported Help Desk tickets
.Analyze, correct and test software defects in application code
.Design, develop and test new application functionality according to
documented specifications
.Develop test plans and scripts
.Update existing and create new technical documentation
.Maintain software in multiple environments according to established
configuration management procedures
.Work with other project team members and client staff to provide timely and
accurate software support.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
.7 years of J2EE software development experience
.Experience with Struts and Beans based architecture
.Experience with Weblogic and Oracle 9i
.Experience with system performance analysis and improvement
PREFERRED SKILLS:
.Experience with Hibernate or other persistence layer tools
.Application development experience in a State government environment
