Posit ion Title : Application Developer Location : Springfield, IL Duration : 24 months Rate : DOE Skills Required: There is some related historical data that will be moved from a legacy Access database into the SQL database, eliminating the need for the Access system. The data collected will be maintained in a SQL 2005 database and a reporting mechanism will be provided through SSRS to produce internal reports. A comprehensive report of the data collected will be posted annually on the Dept. of Insurance's Website.
The tools to be used are Visual Studio .Net, SSRS, SQL Server, and Access. This is not a DBA role. This person will have primary responsibility for any new programming to be done and will need to work with the users to analyze the requirements, some of which are still changing, and to design the specific solutions.
