*Position Description: Experience Level: 10 or more years technical
background and 6+ years directly related web engineering experience. *



* Senior UNIX/WINDOWS ADMINISTRATOR WITH STRONG BACKGROUND IN MIDDLEWARE
-INSTALLATION, ADMINISTRATION and SUPPORT.*

*Key Responsibilities*

·         This individual will perform design and planning activities on Sun
Solaris, SUSE, Red-Hat, and Windows Server Systems.

·         This will include designing and documenting patching and access
management policies & procedures as well as providing guidance and
procedural direction.

·         Administration of the UNIX and Linux and WINDOWS environments
including validating environmental health and patch level and access control
issues.



·         Administration of Middleware Applications to include WebLogic and
WebSphere.

·         The individual will also research, analyze and incorporate
emerging technologies into the UNIX/WINDOWS environments for access
management, patching and (possibly) source control and deployment.
Versatility is key measure to the success of this position.

·         Demonstrable versatility between flavors of UNIX/Linux, WINDOWS,
WEBLOGIC and WEBSPHERE mentioned above will be a plus.

*Skill Requirements *

·         The Wholesale business is very dynamic with many un-anticipated
changes. Deriving solutions in close partnership with the line of business
and being 'quick-on-one's-feet' is a needed trait for this position.

·         At least 5+ years of experience administering, monitoring and
managing Solaris (8/9/10), SUSE Linux (9) and Red-HAT, MS Windows 2000, 03,
& 08 environments. Should be comfortable with the internals of several other
distributions.

·         5+ years of experience troubleshooting and tuning Linux systems
down to the kernel level.

·         Experience with high-availability and Disaster-Recovery using
technologies such as Veritas Cluster Services, SRDF, Timefinder/BCVs

·         5+ years of experience automating activities using Perl, Python,
jython, WLST and Shell scripting is a necessity.

·         Experience with VMware ; Experience with Remedy Pac2000

·         Demonstrable experience with WebMethods, HPUX, AIX, NDM, MQ,
Apache, and SunOne.

·         Experience with designing and administering Access Controls and
security for WLS, WLP, and WebSphere.

·         Experience with LDAP ; Demonstrable experience with IBM IHS,
Expect, dtrace, or c.

·         Experience with the administration or setup of Oracle/Sybase is a
plus.

·         Demonstrable experience administering, supporting, setting-up or
participating in initiatives with application servers such as Weblogic,
Weblogic Clusters v8, 9, 10.2 and WebSphere, WebSphere Clusters v5.x, 6.x.

·         Full understanding and experience in understanding, configuring,
supporting and administering WebLogic Access and security.

·         Experience with HPSA, HPOO, and OpsWare is a plus

·         Demonstrable experience designing solutions for application with
n-Tier Architectures and GRID is a plus.

·         Demonstrable skills writing best-practice documentation and
solution documents are a necessity. Demonstrable leadership skills such as
managing time, managing meetings and verbal communication skills are a must.
