Title : Messsaging Engineer
Rate : 45 hr C2C
Location: Chandler, AZ
Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 10 or more years
experience.
Description: Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual
contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications
and/or application initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of
available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on the most complex
problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of
intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation
point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most
complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert
technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing,
and implementation process.
Client is searching for a messaging engineer to join the Enterprise
Messaging & Collaboration - Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have
a high level knowledge of windows operating system, knowledge of 3rd party
application environments regarding messaging (archiving, email controls,
encryption, etc). The individual should be able to deploy, administer,
monitor and troubleshoot in a complex messaging environment in accordance
with industry accepted Best Practices.
Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment
(20,000 plus users) where the team must administer systems to known
corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes.
The engineering team is responsible for designing, documenting and
maintaining a complex environment.
Be able to perform research, evaluation and documentation duties on
hardware, applications, operating systems and data network problems for both
individual users and server/LAN environments. Be the escalation point for
the production support staff and to respond to support questions from less
experienced staff.
The candidate will be working on an incremental funded project regarding
version updates, compliance reporting and mailing routing for a email
archiving application. They will also be responsible for maintaining the lab
virtual environment (scheduling, assignment, allocation).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exposure to formal
project management methodology; professional experience related to info
Relevant experience in addition to a general Messaging background with
expertise in Exchange, SendMail, etc. includes experience with an Email
Archiving and Compliance application like CA Message Manager (preferred) or
similar technology like Symantec Vault, EMC-Legato, ZL Unified Archive.
