requirement for an Oracle DBA.
Location : Charlotte, NC / Jersey city, NJ
Position : 6 months+
Experience required:
o BS in Computer Science with specialization in IS.
o Solid understanding of relational database concepts.
o 5+ years experience with configuration/administration/support of
medium to large Oracle 9i/10g databases running on Solaris/Linux
o Oracle 9i/10g RAC/ASM
o Cluster Ware – Oracle & Veritas
o Backup and Recovery – RMAN, Hot Backups
o Oracle Partitioning
o Replication – Oracle and Shareplex
o Database performance optimization
o Good working knowledge of UNIX Operating system (Solaris) and
(Linux).
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to work independently and effectively in a team
environment with people of diverse
