*QA Engineering Technician*

*Location           : **Irvine CA 92618  -- locals or near by area*

*Duration           : **2-3 months (extensions based on performance)*

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*



·         Responsible for inspection and testing of assigned medical device
components in accordance to QSR, company policy and approved procedures.



*Education / Experience required:*



·         Experience with Electro-Mechanical Medical Devices and Equipment.

·         2-5 years experience as a Quality Technician or QC inspector in a
medical device company or a related industry

·         Minimum High School education or equivalency, some college level
education preferred

·         Basic math skills

·         Manual ability and visual coordination vision systems,
microscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gages and gage blocks

·         PC Literacy and use of Microsoft office

·         Be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and
engineering drawings, ANSI-Y-14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Preventive Actions (CAPA), Internal Audits, Good Manufacturing Procedures
(GMP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP))

·         Environmental Regulations

*Key Job Responsibilities:*



·         Testing of Electro-Mechanical components on Medical Devices and
Equipment.

·         Perform dimensional and visual inspection of assigned products per
approved procedures / inspection plans.

·         Documents all inspection / test results and any non-conformances
found during inspection, testing or evaluations according to the written
procedure.

·         Performs disposition of material.

·         Maintain knowledge of all procedures, change to specifications and
new regulations related to areas of responsibilities.

·         Review Supplier inspection / test results; provide feedback to
engineers and suppliers.

·         Support associates on defect awareness, inspection methods and
specifications requirements.

·         Perform Device History Records (DHR) / batch records review for
product release.

·         Support in training of new QA Technician for proper use of
inspection methods and procedures.
