*System Administrator * *Location: Albany, NY* *Duration: One Year - Dec 2009 to Dec 2010* **** *Duties: * * * * responsible for configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the operating environment, including: servers, firewalls, load balancers, main and backup storage devices, and Web and application servers.* *Examples of System Administration activities and responsibilities that will be required of the Contractor in this project include, but not limited to:* · * **Develop and implement data backup and recovery procedures;* *· Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity procedures in the event of server failures;* *· Operating system maintenance tasks including installing patches for problem resolution and security enhancements;* *· Monitor servers to ensure operation within acceptable parameters.
