Participate as an active member of the worldwide Middleware support team and take a position in off-hours support rotation. On-call coverage is required for this position. . Monitor and assure the stability of the production environments and provide support to the firm's application developers. . Support for the firms Proprietary Messaging System. . Duties include the installation, configuration and support of the Tuxedo and Ascential DataStage TX products. Qualifications: - Experience with Tuxedo, Ascential Data Stage TX and/or MQ is essential. - Solid technical background in C++ application development and middleware messaging systems. - Strong research and information gathering skills. Ability to work on own initiative, researching and following up issues is important - Must be someone able to handle our clients with respect and consideration no matter what the provocation. Desirable Skills: . Knowledge of Financial industry is an advantage but secondary to the technical and people skills necessary for the support desk. . Maturity to interact with senior IT management at some events/meetings. Thank you.
