QUANTITY 1 ROLE Websphere SOA Portal support analyst STATUS OPEN START ASAP DURATION 18 months LOCATION Albany STATE NY BILL RATE $48 - $50/hr INFO ROLE DESC The Integrated Justice Portal is a 7 x 24 environment which presents secure services and applications to the client agencies. With Release 4, the Integrated Justice platform is migrating to a SOA platform with the introduction of new Websphere SOA products. Several new projects including Forte 2 Java, NOADS, NY-DEX, and the Interfaces to the new SABIS system are beginning development and will utilize the SOA products into the environment. The supported product set includes WAS, Websphere Process Server, Websphere Service Registry and Repository, Websphere Business Monitor, DataPower, MQ Series, Websphere Portal, and Message Broker. The technical staff will assist in supporting the Websphere SOA environment, troubleshooting problems, and assisting development staff as needed. Off hours support rotates between team members on a weekly basis. MANDATORY EXPERIENCE 1. Eight years experience in supporting IT systems. 2. Two years experience with the installation, configuration, and/or administration of IBM Websphere Process Server and/or Websphere Service Registry and Repository, and/or Websphere Business Monitor. 3. Two years minimum experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Websphere Application Server Versions 6 and above. 4. Good verbal and written communication skills. ASSOCIATED SKILLS (must have at least 1) 1. Experience administering Websphere Portal V6 or V6.1 in a clustered configuration. 2. Experience administering WAS V6.1 and /or WAS V7 in a clustered configuration. 3. Experience administering Websphere Process Server, Websphere Service Registry and Repository, and/or Websphere Business Monitor in a clustered environment. 4. Experience administering IBM's WCM (Web Content Management) in a Portal 6 or 6.1 environment. 5. Experience supporting Message Broker and MQ Series.
