Title: Sr Java Developer with Media Experience Duration: 3-6 months Location: South Brunswick, NJ * 5+ years experience in Java/J2EE, MVC, JSP, XML, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Eclipse * Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming methodology * Ability to Producing readable, reliable, and maintainable code * 5+ years developing software solutions to solve complex, business-critical challenges * Experience with CVS, SVN, or SourceSafe * Working knowledge of JBOSS Application Server, APACHE Webserve * Working knowledge of one or more major databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and at least one Object to Relational mapping method (e.g., Hibernate). * Must have experience with Unix utilities * Experience with Subversion * Experience using automated build / deployment tools such as Maven 2 and Ant * Experience generating automated unit testing using tools like JUnit and/or HttpUnit * Experience building SOA solutions , Web Services, SOAP, REST Services * Experience in both traditional software development lifecycle and agile development / iterative programming Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript libraries preferred but not required * Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
