Sr. C #.NET Developer position in Boca Raton, FL* *Local candidates only*. *Contract of 6 months plus.* * * *Experience* - 8+ years of in-depth experience in object oriented business application design and development - 6+ years solid .NET development using C# - Experience with web-based applications - 8+ years of development experience on Microsoft Windows platform - 5+ years with SQL Server - ADO.NET, XML, COM, solid object oriented design and programming, and UML - 7+ years of experience using UML - Experience with SCRUM methodologies - ASP.Net 2.0, ASP.Net 3.5 SQL Server 2005 - Strong front end development skills (Javascript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS) - Web Services, XML, SOAP - SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) - Strong understanding of Asp.Net MVC Framework and Subversion Experience working with Third Party API's - Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Object Oriented Programming - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high traffic environment - Define technical and coding standards. - Provide architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to the IT development and infrastructure teams. - Develop, document, and communicate plans for investing in systems architecture, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities. - Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of systems development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and systems flexibility. - Where applicable, design, develop, and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems. - Review new and existing systems design projects and procurement or outsourcing plans for compliance with standards and architectural plans. - Confer with end-users, clients, or management to define business requirements for complex systems and infrastructure development. - Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models. - Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement. - Develop and manage a systems capacity plan. - Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a policy for standardizing systems and software as necessary. - Provide guidance/mentoring to junior members of the team.
