Hartford CT(Prefer locals) 6 Months *Description:* The candidate will serve in the capacity of Lead Tester, providing advanced testing support of the test plans, coordination and implementation of the clients application. The candidate will be expected to: ¨ Develop, review and approve unit, system and *UAT test plans* as required. ¨ Develops and maintains regression test plans for each *legacy (source) system interface* including events and related functionality. ¨ Oversees the execution of testing activities regarding clients applications. Plans and coordinates all inter-agency testing of clients applications. Coordinates agency testing of new client’s application software releases and legacy (source) system changes involving all clients stakeholder agencies. ¨ Maintains the documentation and reporting process for all errors. Oversees, maintains and verifies the completeness of all test documentation, test executions and test results for all test activities. Maintains an accounting of all reported errors and their status and resolution. Produces necessary summary and detailed reports concerning testing activities. Participates in the prioritization of reported errors. Researches and provides documentation to assist in the analysis and in developing recommendations for solutions. Closes all errors that were successfully tested. Investigates and verifies reported problems to determine if they should be reported as errors. ¨ Reviews the clients applications and legacy (source) system release notes to assist in creating test plans, test cases, expected results and procedures. ¨ Executes test plan and test case scenarios. ¨ Provide knowledge transfer and training as it relates to the appropriate source system being testing. ¨ Work with agencies to learn the individual systems for building test scripts. ¨ Mentors test team members and other team members in the business testing discipline. ¨ Perform other tasks as assigned. *REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE* *A minimum of ten (10) years* of prior experience demonstrating the following knowledge and skills: ♦ Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes. ♦ Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces. ♦ A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work. ♦ Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office ♦ Strong Oral & Written Skills ♦ Analytical and Detail Oriented ♦ Good organization and listening skills ♦ *Prior experience in testing new releases and regression testing* ♦ Strong knowledge of implementation and setup of testing scripts *♦ ** **Prior experience with legacy systems *** *♦ ** **Prior lead testing responsibility*** *♦ ** **Experience in performing business analysis*. ♦ Experience developing test plans and scripts and executing unit, system, integration and user acceptance tests. ♦ Experience in mentoring testing staff and team building I appreciate your help. *Happy Thanks Giving and Happy Holidays.* Pls suggest resumes to [email protected] Thanks.
