The candidate will be responsible for database design and development, logical data modeling, and administrative knowledge of Oracle Portal to support database and application development. The candidate will assist the department in complying with the Federal Recovery Act (Stimulus) requirements and ideally will have knowledge of the Recovery Act reporting requirements and Transportation Projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated work experience using Oracle Portal's 9i and 10g Content Management system to develop database and application components, and is very proficient in the administration of the Oracle Portal tool and PL/SQL. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Sr. Abinitio position * *Location: NJ* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job Details:* Senior Ab Initio Developer who can develop continuous flows and also develop graphs for batch processing Develop shell scripts for multiple purposes: automation of environment setup, wrapper scripts for process and batch execution, etc Develop and maintain reports Responsible for the design, development and testing of Ab Initio graphs Ability to successfully lead teams of developers Analyze functional requirements and convert them to technical requirements and design Create technical detail design documents and conduct code reviews with different groups Interface with multiple groups and document results Responsible for the design of system integration test plans Perform other tasks that support the success and growth of the firm *Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related area of study 5+ years of dedicated Ab Initio development experience in a large data warehouse environment Technical background in databases, data modeling and other ETL tools. Expert knowledge of ANSI SQL. Hands on expertise across multiple technologies.
