Windows CE Developer Discipline Client-Server Number of Openings 1 Anticipated Start Date Monday, December 07, 2009 Location Holtsville, NY Employment Type Contract Contract Length 3 months + Hours Per Week 40 Required Skills Requirements: To qualify for this position the candidate must have the following background and skills: * BS Degree with five (5) or more years embedded programming experience. * Five (5) or more years working on the Win CE and MS Mobile OS * Prior and demonstrated experience developing drivers in a Win CE and MS Mobile OS environment based on a BSquare reference build * Embedded programming experience working with C and C# programming language * Experience troubleshooting and fixing driver problems * Must have Experience working with Win CE and Mobile 6.x and above * Prior experience on the SONY IPELA Camera or comparable imaging platform is considered a big plus * Experience working with ARM and/or Intel Pentium processor platforms * Applicant must demonstrate the following personal attributes; strong verbal communication skills, team player, ability to work independently and a history of completing assigned tasks efficiently with a high level of quality * Must be able to provide own laptop Job Description Our client located on Long Island, NY has an immediate opening for Mid to Senior level Programmer / Developer with experience working with Windows CE / Windows Mobile Operating Systems and C and C# programmer language. Our client is seeking an experienced Developer who can write Win CE camera drivers based on a bsquare reference build. The selected candidate will be joining a small development team and will be directly responsible for driver development, fixing existing drivers and porting drivers to the next generation. The device is SONY IPELA Camera that is primarily deployed for surveillance applications. This is a 3 month PLUS contract located in Holtsville NY.
