Our client provides brokerage, execution, and clearing services on securities and derivatives exchanges worldwide. We are currently seeking a Senior Integration Engineer for a six+ month contract in Chicago, IL. SUMMARY: The main responsibility of the Senior Developer within Data management team is to design and implant solutions for data integration using a variety of EAI and ETL tools and methodologies appropriately. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Builds, unit tests and modifies API, EAI and ETL solutions * Provides technical analysis on data exposure and delivery requests * Liaises with Infrastructure teams to ensure proper application configurations and hardware performance efficiencies * Employs industry standard best practices for integration patterns * Provides level three support during zonal business hours * Involved with the review and submission of all solution designs * Establishes regular code reviews tied to on-going component development * Exposes governance and best practices within the Interfaces Team REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: * 10 years of professional experience * At Least 5 years of experience with Java, EJB, JDBC, J2EE and WebLogic * 3 years of experience with XML, TIBCO and Eclipse development. * 5 years of experience with relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server and DTS * 2 years of experience with version control products such as SVN, CVS. * Previous experience working on projects independently to completion. * Previous experience conceptualizing and maneuvering through cascading dependencies * Exposure to Java-based Web application technology * Familiarity with Unix administration * Solid understanding of testing methodologies * Highly effective communication skills both oral and written * Ability to operate in a cross-functional collaborative environment * Ability to work in a team environment * Ability to work in a high pressure / tight-deadline projects * Excellent troubleshooting skills * Strong analytical skills DESIRED EXPERIENCE: * 1-2 years of Team lead experience with a team of 2-3 developers * Project management experience (ability to provide work estimates and schedule tasks plan accordingly), at least 1 year * Experience with software products for financial services including ULLINK, GMI. * Experience with real time Messaging products such as MSMQ, MQ Series, and understanding of different protocols including FIX, SWIFT * Data Modeling both relational and dimensional * Content/Document Management (SharePoint.) * Financial industry experience * Series 3 or Series 7 certification EDUCATION: * Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience Hope to hear from you soon Thanks & Regards Eileen S Cube Soft, Inc 734 Green Street, Suite 212 Iselin NJ 08830 Tel 732-692-8272| Fax 732.770.4015 <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] YM: [email protected] <http://www.scubesoft.com> www.scubesoft.com cid:[email protected]
