Irvine, CA 92618.

Minimum 3 yrs experience in the following technologies required: Sun One
Webserver, Oracle WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, Linux, Sun Solaris,
SSL, SSH, shell scripting. Also, must know the foundation and how to
navigate and work in UNIX.
Technologies preferred: FogLight, Remedy Incident Management, Perl,
Ultraseek, ETL related technologies, LDAP or Active Directory, Rational
ClearCase/ClearQuest, Excel, SQL, F5 BigIP LTM/GTM, Internet Caching,
Mainframe, Web Analytics, Documentum

* General understanding of technology trends and technical
developments.
* Thorough knowledge of web client/server technical architectures.
* General knowledge of desktop software and hardware technologies.
* General knowledge and understanding of networking infrastructures,
including local area or wide area networking technologies and protocols.
* Thorough knowledge or understanding of network and systems
management technologies or concepts.
* General knowledge of applications development processes and tools.
* General knowledge of database technologies.
* Demonstrated ability to work in teams, participate in the
development of objectives and resolution of issues.

* Maintains and consistently demonstrates a general knowledge of
company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures.
* Participates in the development of technology directions.
* Participates in meetings with applications developers and
technology & operations staff, identifying issues/concerns, and ensuring
* appropriate follow-up.
* Participates in technical projects in support of applications
development projects.
* Educates team members about the technical issues of systems
development projects.
* Analyzes and evaluates the technical requirements of proposed
systems.
* Assists application development teams in the selection and
application of appropriate technical standards.
* Assists in the estimation of technical architecture development
efforts and prioritization of tasks for technical architecture releases
* and implementation.
* Participates in the design of technical/infrastructure architecture
components in support of application requirements.
* Conducts analysis of hardware and software, as needed for the
implementation of a technical/infrastructure architecture.
* Provides status updates and reports to project management and
development team members on a consistent basis.
* Develops or integrates components of the technical architecture, as
required.
* Ensures the quality of the technical architecture by conducting
thorough unit and system testing.
* Participates in the appropriate implementation of the technical
architecture, in cooperation with technology and operations staff, to ensure
continued overall reliable execution of systems.
* Constructively contributes in project meetings.
* Performs other work as required or requested as well as additional
assignments.
