Provide technical design and architecture advice on implementation of ETL Ab Initio including re-usable components F. Project Description/Daily Assignment Detailed Description of Daily Assignment: Demonstrates an expert working knowledge in one or more programming languages (ETL - Ab Initio). Design, development and testing of data integration components to support the project. Full project lifecycle experience from requirements to maintenance. Ability to create the technical software development specifications from the functional specification deliverables provided for complex interfaces. Has developed complex code for a large scale cross project from scratch to be used in a production environment. Work closely with Home Depot Data Integration Associates and contractor team members to ensure proper system design and re-use. Ensure high quality implementation from QA to production following Home Depot outlined procedures and documentation. Provide day to day assistance to project team members as it relates to project work. Provide status reports as required to the project lead or manager. Must be able to identify and direct implementation of hardware and software needs. Must have the ability to view packages and products to determine their viability within the solution being considered, or identify a solution in other areas if it exists.
