Position Name:                 System Administrator

 

Location:                              Chicago HQ

Desired Start:                    11/23/2009         

Anticipated End:               03/31/2010 (Ex A will reflect end date to
12/31/09, all contract positions go through the year end renewal process.

 

Position Description:      

Installation, configuration, code deployment and troubleshooting of
Websphere application server hosted on an IBM Mainframe Platform (Z-series).
Knowledge of the Z-series environment in general, sysplex connectivity and
surrounding disciplines in this space are a definite plus.  Ancillary
knowledge of current technology platforms such as Websphere Process server
and Enterprise Service Bus are also desired skills. 

 

Skills Required:                 

Websphere Application Server 6.1 on Z-os, Script management and construction


 

Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities: 

Development and support of automation scripts and deployment of code
functions to enable customer environments to self support non-production
environments. Assistance with performance analysis of J2EE based
applications, integration and configuration of connection functions such as
MQ, JDBC and HTTP. Responsible for distribution of customer created EAR
files to clustered environments, troubleshooting implementation and customer
interaction for application delivery.
