Locals Only.* *Send resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Sun Solaris Systems Administrator* We are currently engaged in a project that requires a Sun Solaris Systems Administrator on a consulting basis who will be responsible for supporting a Sun Server (Solaris 10) infrastructure. In this role, the Solaris Systems Administrator will be responsible for: - Day to day Administration of *Sun Solaris 10*; - Support & Maintenance on Sun Solaris Admin ; - Setting up & Administration of SUN Solaris servers hosting *SAP/ DB2*; - System Administration using Solstice Disk suit and* Veritas Volume Manager*; - Work with a variety of support and application development teams to *debug, troubleshoot and optimize* *Sun Solaris OS*; - Optimizes disk storage and manages disk space allocation; The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following: - Sun Solaris Systems Administrator focus; - Sun Fault Analysis - Knowledge of UNIX internals; - *TCP/IP, DNS and NIS*; - Well versed in *UNIX security, system performance, troubleshooting, clustering, and fluent in shell scripting*; - Prefer Sun Systems Administration Certification - Experience with *Sparc-VI and Sparc-VII based servers - M-CLASS*.
