Send your resume with the following information:(@ [email protected])) ** Current location: * E-mail: * Phone no. for interview: * Availability: * Work authorization status: * Billing rate (mention with 1099 or corp-to-corp) Job Description * The consultant will have extensive experience with the following software tools: ** SAP Business Objects XI R3 * Informatica PowerCenter 8 * Subversion source control o Check-in/out procedures o Hierarchy and organization methods * SQL Server 2005/2008 o DML o DDL o Data Migration and Rollback * CA ERWin* *Consultant will provide the following general template and pattern deliverables:* * Perform and troubleshoot software builds. Streamline processes using build and release management tools and edits to related BI packages and components. * Track and package all components of the software release that comprise a full working system as the end product. These items may include build deliverables (code), data, data structure, software configuration files and instructions. Collate this information to create a comprehensive set of Release Instructions and Release Notes. * Deploy the release to Development and QA environments using the preliminary release notes. Refine and test the deployment continuously through the promotion and roll-back of environments as needed. * Create documentation on processes, procedures, and policies related to above tasks. Ensure that documentation is current and comprehensive. * Work collaboratively with Developers and advise on improvements and efficiencies. Additionally, ideal consultants will meet or exceed the following requirements: * Compilation and build experience, and scripting knowledge (Vbscript, PowerShell) * Familiarity with ITIL concepts. * Excellent attention to detail with superior problem solving abilities. * Proven experience with continuous improvement related to tool use, trends and processes. * Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with proven ability to establish priorities and achieve results.
