Duration: 7 Months. - The scope of the project is to assist client in the storage virtualization and data migration of up to 157TB’s of disk capacity on up to 383 in-scope servers. The objectives of this project are: - Provide technical engagement management to coordinate and schedule IBM resources with client day-to-day production activities. - Provide solution planning and technical design of the San Volume Controller *(SVC)* Virtualization and Migration Solution to virtualize up to 383 servers attached to HDS Arrays (SN# 44139, 43143, 43147, 43299, and 43300) and migrate up to 157TB’s of disk capacity onto virtualized IBM DS5300 storage. - Design and configure IBM’s TotalStorage Productivity Center (*TPC)*Standard Edition for the virtualized IBM storage infrastructure ( *SVC, DS5300, and up to 383 in-scope servers*). - Provide server remediation and virtualization planning services on up to 383 in-scope servers. - Perform Storage virtualization and *data migration*. Help implement storage virtualization on up to 383 in-scope servers via the SVC solution. - Install the TPC Standard Edition host agent on up to 383 of the in-scope servers. - Perform TPC Host Agent Installation on Non-Virtualized Hosts. - Install the TPC Standard Edition host agent on up to 600 additional servers that not in scope for virtualization at this time.
