Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator Location: Austin, Texas Duration: 8+ Months
We have only one hour to Submit resumes Skills/Experience: Oracle database administration to include Oracle 10g and 11g (Oracle OCP/OCM certification a plus) PeopleSoft database administration, including PeopleCode, Data Mover Scripts and Application PeopleSoft HR and/or Financials experience PeopleSoft experience with implementations, installations and/or upgrades Ability to interact and communicate well with functional team leads and agency personnel Designer SQL and shell script development Knowledge of software development methodologies, design and implementations Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams (e.g., portfolio/project managers, domain experts, users, and software engineering team) to design and deploy business information systems across the enterprise. Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems. Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff on the project. A proven ability to work effectively across multiple groups and functional areas (including working w/subject-matter-experts, leveraging resources), where security processes are concerned. Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). Experience with Symantec Netbackup software.
