*Project Description:* Consultant will write in detail, the plan to migrate our current environment to Business Objects XI 3.1, including Crystal 2008 and Xcelsius 2008. Worker will serve as Project Lead to migrate CPA to new releases in a timely manner, coordinating all steps with the various sections in IT and coordinating the user acceptance testing. Worker will report to the Section Manager of the Data Warehouse & BI Reporting Section in IT. In addition, worker will meet with Information Security and address any outstanding security issues associated with the current release of Business Objects and the planned migration to Business Objects XI 3.1, Crystal 2008 and Xcelsius 2008. In addition, workers will perform advanced design, programming, and analysis in Business Objects development work using SQL Server 2005 as the data warehouse. Perform application analysis and coding tasks in Business Objects. Performs research and analyze applications issues and requirements. Work closely with other Business Intelligence technical staff. Conduct reviews of proposed design and again after coding and unit testing of assignment. Will perform testing to verify that the software development meets the business requirements. Performs other related work as assigned. Worker will adhere to and follow all BI Design templates and standards. *Required Skills:* · Business Objects, including WEBI reports and Universe Design · Experience documenting work · Hands-on experience migrating to Business Objects XI 3.1 and prior releases · Extensive experience with highly complex security requirements · SQL 2005 developing with SQL Server Database · Communication (Verbal & Written)
