*Location:* King of Prussia, PA Duration: 3 months + *Start:* ASAP* * * * *Environment *(Candidates should be familiar with these technologies) - Dell Server Hardware, Windows server 2003/8, Active Directory, Exchange 2003/7, SQL Server 2005/8,- IIS6/7, Apache 2.3, Red Hat Linux, Oracle DB 10g / Apex, XP/2007, VMware ESX software, Cisco switches/routers, SAN, Windows Office Suite / MOSS, Mobile devices (PDA), Storage Area Networks (both Fiber Channel & iSCSI), Symantec Endpoint Protection and Netbackup Server. - Target production deployment platform is virtualized applications, clustered (HA) servers, geographically distributed running in an HH configuration. *Minimum Qualifications:* · *5+ years of Microsoft Windows Server support * · *4+ years of Active Directory support * · *3+ years of IIS and/or Apache Windows Administration * · *2+ years of Scripting * · Highly desired experience, but not required: SQL Server Administration, SMS Configuration Manager Administration / Packaging, WSUS Administration, Certificate Management, Sitescope, WhatsUp Gold, Doubletake, Microstrategy, Talend, Netbackup Desktop & Laptop Option. * Senior Systems Administrator with current Microsoft and Cisco certification to support a global development and production infrastructure. * Description - Senior Windows/Linux System Administrator responsible for server design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, hardware/software maintenance and other activities related to System Administration to ensure stability, availability and optimal performance of production systems. - Qualified candidate will have significant hands-on experience throughout the infrastructure. This individual must be able to work with existing systems as well as be capable of comparing, researching and implementing new technology features and functionalities into the infrastructure. - The candidate must be able to see projects through all stages, including defining requirements, drafting and presenting technical proposals, managing vendors, deploying and maintaining the best solutions. This position will require participation in 24x7 on-call support rotation and off-hours maintenance work. - To be qualified for this position, individuals should have 5+ yrs of Windows/Linux System Administration experience working in a fast-pace environment. Previous experience in a desktop support and helpdesk role and willingness to work with users to troubleshoot and correct problems is a strong plus.
