" Development and support of point of sale application systems, " Collaboration with third party software providers, and vendors, " Interact with leads to gain an understanding of the desired solution (application) described in the business requirements documentation, " Participation in design, and implementation of complex solutions in cross-team development efforts, " Integration of third party technology and API integration, " Understanding and the application of defect tracking, " Interaction with development group team members, excellent cross group collaboration skills, be self-motivated and be a team player, " Writing of activities and procedural documentation and/or Sharepoint entry, " Write code using appropriate technologies as decided in the architecture meetings and documented by the lead, " Participate in code review sessions, " Assist other developers as needed, " Adherence to corporate culture, rules and operational procedures. Skills: Languages: C, C++, VB.net, C#, VB, HTML, Crystal Reports Script Languages: TCL, or Javascript, or Perl, or Python, or an understanding of scripting Databases: MS SQL, Express, Access Operating Systems: DOS, Windows Education: Associate Degree/Information System. Other: Minimum of at least five (5) years of experience in computer industry and software development. Must be US Citizen or have the ability to travel outside US territories. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications using the MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with IIS and Apache a plus.
