*Job Title:* Operations Analyst *Synopsis:* Operations Analyst with 5+ years of experience installing and maintaining software packages *Work Site Location:* Milwaukee, Wisconsin *Start/End Date:* 2010-01-04 to 2011-01-04 *Total Duration:* 365 Days / 52.1 Weeks ------------------------------ ------------------------------ *Description:* This position serves as a technical subject matter expert on a wide breadth of technologies, with limited daily direction, will be responsible for maintaining, administering, optimizing performance and facilitating the usage of key application software environment and corporate utilities. * Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies and supports appliance operating systems, utilities and Internet/intranet-related tools. * Conducts systems programming and systems support activities, such as new or revised program language codes, processing routines and report generators. * Monitors effective language codes, processing routines, hardware use and use of database management techniques. * Modifies, maintains and updates software, such as compilers, link editors, assemblers, OEM utilities, JCL,. Develops and reviews operator and control instructions. * Prepares and conducts system and programming tests requiring interfacing of hardware and software, scripting, etc. * Conducts scripting (PERL/UNIX) tasks including program design, program coding, debugging and documentation. * As directed, prepares feasibility studies and designs tests to determine operating characteristics of software. * ------------------------------ * ** *Benefits:* *Skills/Experience:* 5+ years of experience installing and maintaining software packages in Unix and Windows environments. In depth experience with one and the ability to learn other applications or technologies such as Apache / Tomcat administration, BMC Patrol, Control-M, HP Service Desk, HP Output Manager, Java, Cognos, LDAP, Perl, etc. *Required Skills:* *Desired Skills:* Desired experience with SAP or supporting systems connected to SAP. Experience with any of the following software packages is a plus PVCS, Mapinfo, Clicktracks, Google Appliance, document management software.
