Role: SQL DBA Location: WI Position Type: 3 Months (Ext) Job Skills: Designing and supporting SQL 2008 enterprise edition for the following: database partitioning (particularly around healthcare claims), VLDBs (maintenance, historical data and backup/recovery strategies), ODS/MDM and relational warehouses, historical data archival strategies and performance tuning/troubleshooting. Review logical data models and provide recommendations. Generate physical data models as well as determining storage and I/O requirements. Drive implementations of the physical data models coordinating with server and storage engineers.
