Position : Flash Developer

*Description*
The Flash Developer will design, test, implement and maintain software
systems to meet client needs. The position requires a responsible, team
oriented, well organized individual with strong communications skills and
the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while adapting quickly to
rapidly changing priorities. This is a rare opportunity to be part of an

*Qualifications: *
Ø 5+ years designing, writing and testing new software programs
Ø Deep understanding of Object Oriented technology and implementation
techniques ('patterns')
Ø Extensive knowledge of ActionScript (AS2 and AS3)
Ø Experience developing web front ends (HTML, Flash, JavaScript)
Ø Experience developing with Java
Ø Understanding of backend web development languages (PHP, Perl)
Ø Proven experience in designing API's for and writing re-usable flash
components
Ø Proven analytical / problem solving ability
Ø Good understanding of OO technology
Ø Proven analytical / problem solving ability
Ø Understanding of systems development lifecycle process
Ø Able to work and contribute to a team environment
Ø Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ø Required to be flexible, detail oriented and organized with the ability to
multitask and work independently
Ø Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred (Comparable
experience is acceptable)
*Responsibilities:*
Ø Design and build Adobe Flash video components
Ø Design, write and test new software programs
Ø Further develop existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for
modification
Ø Create technical specifications
Ø Work closely with other staff, such as product managers, graphic artists,
systems analysts, and sales and marketing professionals
Ø Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually,
to meet the needs of the project
