*Require previous state experience*
*Mandatory Qualifications: *
一. Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working with state
staff and management, and public sector executives;
一. At least five (5) years experience performing executive level leadership
for IT projects;
一. At least two (2) years experience managing projects with multiple
geographical business locations;
一. At least two (2) years experience managing complex IT network and/or
telecommunication upgrade projects;
一. Experience managing or leading projects with a variety of stakeholders
and multiple project dependencies; and
一. Knowledge of state IT policy and governance processes.
一. *Desirable Qualifications: *
一. PMP or equivalent project management certification;
一. Understanding of the state budget process;
一. Experience with projects supporting health care environments;
一. Experience deploying enterprise technology solutions within a health
care or correctional environment;
一. Experience with business reengineering projects;
一. Experience in business process change management;
一. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
*SCOPE OF SERVICES *
The LAN/WAN PM is required to perform all of the following:
Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan (PMP), and all
other project management artifacts required by CLIENT for complex IT
projects;
Act as primary interface with UHRC LAN/WAN Project Sponsors, Chief
Information Officer (CIO), Deputy Chief Information Officers, and PMO
Director;
Provide day-to-day management of UHRC Project including, but not
limited to, coordination of all project activities related to establishment
of a standardized health information system (e.g., Clinical Data Repository
[CDR] Project, etc.);
Provide day-to-day direction for State and Contractor resources
assigned to the project;
Manage project to current work plans and coordinate availability of
scheduled resources for the project;
Manage all project resources and ensure that appropriate funds are
available throughout the term of the project;
Establish and maintain regular communications with CLIENT CIO,
DCIOs, and/or PMO;
Maintain status reporting, budget/cost reporting, and issue and risk
reporting;
Lead change management and change control in coordination with CDCR
and CLIENT program and IT staff;
Monitor and maintain UHRC Project development and implementation
schedules; and
Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure all
project objectives are met, milestones are achieved, and stakeholder’s
expectations are addressed.
