**Scope of Work:* *

These positions serve as IT developers within our client with specialized
knowledge, experience and expertise in developing software application
projects in a fluid and dynamic environment.
*Required knowledge, skills and abilities:*
· Ability to effectively contribute and work on a self-directed
team. · Ability to effectively produce in multiple IT disciplines,
including requirements identification, business analysis, coding, QA
testing, and system documentation. · Ability to effectively work as
an application developer in an Agile environment. · Skills in the
Unified Modeling Language (UML), specifically developing Use Cases. ·
Skills in integration of geospatial software services in user
interfaces. ·
Skills in Object Oriented modeling and design. · Skills in system
requirements specification development and documentation. · Strong
leadership and communication abilities.
*Specific duties include: *
Work as a member of an IT SCRUM project team to:
· Code application · Obtain an understanding of key business
needs and work directly with end users to create effective solutions. ·
Elicit, understand, and document complex business processes and translate
them into solutions. · Interact and consult with senior and midlevel
managers of the client business units, as well as key Subject Matter
Experts. · Exercise excellent communication skills for
communicating various system issues and meeting the customer’s expectations.
· Participate in workshop/interview meetings with
business/application owners and end users · Effectively manage time
to assure commitments are met on time. · Application Integration of
ESRI products,.NET environments, and third party tools. · Employ
source code repository check-in processes. · Employ a strong
team-oriented focus
*Documentation of work to include:*
· Requirements Document · UML documentation including; Use
Cases, Storyboarding, and Wireframes · Technical documentation
·
Unit tests · Other project related documentation as required by the
IT Project Office Manager
*Mandatory Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
· Minimum 10 years experience in Information Technology. ·
Minimum
of 10 years experience as a developer on large-scale software application
development or implementation projects. · Minimum 5 years coding in
a .Net, C# environment. · Minimum 5 years experience working with
ESRI products. · Minimum of 5 years experience creating & using UML
documentation including Use Case diagrams and wireframes. · Minimum
1 year experience developing applications in an Agile SCRUM environment
*Mandatory Work Experience must include projects pertaining to:*
· Enterprise application implementation · .NET application
development · N-tier application implementation · Agile
project management methodology
*Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** *
· Knowledge of multiple Operating systems · Knowledge of
multiple development languages and development platforms · Knowledge
of Enterprise Architecture and/or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA)
·
Knowledge of Microsoft XP operating systems · Knowledge of MS Office
suite · Knowledge of MS Visio · Knowledge of Sparx
Enterprise Architect (CASE tool for business process modeling). ·
Knowledge
