Responsibilities:
Install and Maintain SQL Server Databases:
Knowledge of relational database structure and general SQL Server
administration including backup and restore process; write and interpret SQL
queries; create and schedule routine ETL, DTS, or SSIS packages and Sequel
jobs; and administer SQL security.
Knowledge of ODBC and OLE connectivity; ability to create connections using
various data sources such as spreadsheets, text and delimited files.
Knowledge of Star schemas.
Maintain Company Financial Planning and Reporting Software - Cognos:
Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning Contributor and Analyst modules;
ability to work with multi-dimensional data; create applications,
administrative links, batch files and macros to import/export data; develop
manager screens to run routine tasks; publish data for Cognos reports; and
manage Cognos security.
3+ years working with relational databases, and administering SQL Server in
an enterprise environment.
MCITP: Database Administrator
1+ Years working with Cognos Planning 8.1 or 8.4 as an Administrator.
