Employers are responsible to get their consultant for Face to Face. We will not share any expenses. *Duration: 6 Months+* *Location: Dallas, TX* * * Unix/SAS experience: Under limited supervision, operate mainframe or networked computers on jobs requiring substantial processing resources or long print runs. Use one or more job control languages to schedule, track, queue, troubleshoot and restart jobs. May assign, configure and troubleshoot networked appliances and peripherals. Maintain operation logs and note corrective actions taken. Monitor backup procedures on networked computers and track file and data storage on networked storage/server facilities. May provide operating system maintenance and be able to perform programming tasks in the operating environment, including installing patches and updates. Key Job Functions Support computer operations in an operations center or on a local area network by tracking job production, monitoring issues and interruptions, and reporting to management. Provide documentation or reports of operations during a shift, a workday, or some other specified period. Communicate with developers, analysts, or business unit staff about the jobs or production runs underway. Monitor and report on use of space, power, printing, and other computing resources As directed, install patches on servers.
