Position: Solutions Architect
Location: Washington, DC Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $55-60/hr. Client: CareFirst Description: . Broad experience in project management execution of multiple enterprise level, mid-sized projects; experience in participating in multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups and demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. . road experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems. . This position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT field or equivalent work experience. . 5-7 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 2-3 years of relevant architecture experience . Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Preferred: . Experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms (in the health care industry). Experience with intranet development and implementation is a plus. Position: Lead Application Integration Specialist Location: Washington, DC Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $55/hr. Client: CareFirst Description: . Experience in all and demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: logical and physical applications design; technical documentation; full-cycle system development; networking; security; web and/or web application server administration; NT, Unix, and/or mainframe systems administration; RDBMS; Web-enabling applications; Java technologies (EJB, JSP, servlet). . Knowledge of system analysis and design methodologies and tools, and experience with large and complex systems. . Experience with multi-system/platform program integration. . This position requires a BA/BS in computer science or related IT field or a certification from technical school plus 8 years experience, OR equivalent experience. . A minimum of 8 years of experience in high-level systems and/or applications and/or network design, development and tuning, as well as with database design and access, and familiarity with networking fundamentals. Preferred: Experience with some or all of the following: CICS, MQSeries, interactive Unix-based systems, CORBA, OO development, Lotus Domino.
