Our client is developing a new product offering and seeks a contractor to augment an existing engineering team to develop workflow and document management reusable frameworks. This contract will be for 6 months to assist in designing, implementing, and testing these reusable frameworks You will follow the client’s development process. A high level design will be in place. You will be responsible for detailed design, implementation and fully unit testing your work. You will work independently but will collaborate with the project Architect and other senior-level engineers to ensure that the functionality is fully implemented and tested. You will work with QA providing guidance on risk areas and reviewing test cases. *Required Qualifications:* - 5+ years of software engineering experience with significant J2EE development experience. - Demonstrated ability to translate documented requirements into a working prototype, detailed design, and follow through with high-quality releasable product. - Practical experience with open source frameworks including Spring and Acegi - Working knowledge of Weblogic 10 for development and testing. - Experience developing and testing software in a Linux environment - Organizational skills which enable you to stay on schedule with limited oversight - Working knowledge of jBPM is highly desirable. - Developing commercial software products is highly desirable - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to quickly learn a complex product - BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
