Please note: contractor may also be based in MN, TX, CO, OR, NM or other
state if appropriate, to be negotiated.

Required skills: Developer with strong Database background

 

§  5+ years .NET development using C# or VB.NET and XML against MS
SQL\Oracle

 

§  5+ years Database design, development and analysis using Microsoft SQL
Server including developing stored procedures and using T-SQL. 

 

§  Experience with load balancing and data replication on MS SQL

 

§  Exposure to developing software for high-volume, highly-available,
distributed services in a hosted VM environment.

 

§  Experience with software development project methodology & standards

 

§  Works well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive
cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements.

 

§  Good written and verbal communication skills. 

 

 

 Experience with some/any of the following is desired:

§  IBM WebSphere MQ 

 

§  Practice Object oriented design 

 

§  Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 administration experience or training 

 

§  Microsoft SQL Reporting Services 

 

§  ModPerl
