*Responsibilities*:
Minimum 8 years recent experience in Java/J2EE based web application
development.
Experience in following technology is required:
- *Java 1.5+*
*- Struts 2.0*
*- Hibernate*
*- Jasper Report/iReport*
*- SQL*
Familiarity with the following is desired:
- WebSphere
- Rational Application Developer/Eclipse
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript/Ajax
- JQuery
- Unix batch environment
· Deep understanding of web application development methodology and
standards.
· Clear oral and written communication skills; advanced analytical
and thinking/logical reasoning; problem recognition and resolution skills;
ability to work under pressure; strong interpersonal skills; perform
mathematical calculations; ability to use computer keyboard and/or mouse for
majority of work day.
· The contract programmer/analyst has direct responsibility for
coding decisions and structural analysis related to the applications. He/she
will analyze and resolve day-to-day problems with online systems. In
particularly complicated situations involving other systems and interfaces,
he/she will consult with other team members, his/her manager and others in
IR&C. The programmer/analyst has general responsibility for evaluating
enhancement requests, proposing programming approaches, and implementing the
modifications to current systems. This is coordinated with his/her manager
who has the final authority
