Experience with WAS ND Installation and application deployment. Experience with monitoring the JVM performance by WebSphere Heap Size, garbage collection, JDBC Pools Responsible for Architectural Design, Implementation and periodic testing and support of Web Environments with respect to High Availability and Disaster Recovery. J2EE Framework knowledge. Flexibility to cover various work schedules, for example, after-hours support or 24x7 support. Experience with SSL Certificate management. Troubleshooting experience of a WebSphere Application Server application in a J2EE context. Responsible for support of JDBC connectivity to different Database Layers. Must be proficient in Linux and/or z/Linux. Experience with scripting (shell, Jython, JACL) Experience in networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, 3DNS, DHCP Execute WebSphere version and patch deployments. Assisting with tracking and managing vendor support tickets, and be able work with a team to triage and resolve urgent application issues. Experience with on-call support for the production environment. Experience with troubleshooting production applications. Experience engineering and administering IBM WebSphere Process Server and WebSphere Business Monitor Desired: Exposure to load balancing tools (BigIP, WAS plug-ins) and Siteminder. Desired experience integrating with IBM MQ Series. Understanding of applications integrated into a DMZ. Java development is a plus. Perl scripting is a plus.
