The role is for a Performance Lab Manager/Engineer to assist with running a performance and reliability test lab. Responsibilities: The Performance Lab Manager will be primarily responsible for performing throughput, latency, and capacity measurements and reliability tests of an equity trading system in the Capital Markets area of the bank. The work will involve working directly with the trading application, scripting and/or programming, performing data analysis, managing the performance lab, and producing reports. Requirements: * Financial industry experience with Equity Trading systems and applications. * Performance analysis including throughput, latency, and capacity measurements; system reliability and failure recovery methods and procedures. * One or more programming (Object Oriented) and scripting languages. * Statistical and numerical analysis, and proficient with Microsoft Excel. * A strong knowledge of infrastructure issues such as servers, networks, data centers and application deployments. Primary location could be either in the Princeton, NJ area or downtown Manhattan, with the occasional need to travel to the other location.
