The candidate will recommend ETL solutions, develop solutions, test solutions, gain acceptance for solutions, and negotiate/coordinate across multiple organizations for timely and cost effective methods to develop and maintain existing data repositories. The candidate must possess technical skills, architecture/infrastructure skills, and project management/coordination skills. * * *REQUIRED SKILLS:* *Experience**:** ** The ideal candidate must have: * - 8-10 years of experience in computer science or information technology. - 5 Years full functional knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, development, and design - 5 Years of advanced Oracle/SQL experience - Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with clients, technical staff, and third parties. - Good oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team - Ability to document and resolve issues and risks with stakeholders * * *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** * · Must have extensive knowledge in Oracle database programming skills with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and SQL Loader · Must have extensive knowledge in advanced Oracle PL/SQL to maintain existing processes and create new ETL processes. · Must have extensive Oracle knowledge for performance tuning. · Must have strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX shell scripting · Must have Sync Sort for UNIX/LINUX · Experience with Data Warehouse implementations and ETL skills · Prefer Autosys Job Scheduler · Prefer Micro Focus Cobol experience · Prefer IBM Mainframe JCL/COBOL · Follow Change Control concepts and policies · Ability to work with offsite Vendor Technical Support for problem resolution · Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing · Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise * * *If you are interested in this position, please send your latest word resume ASAP or else please refer any of your friends/neighbours/colleagues/relatives who may be a good match for this position.
