Minimum Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL, databases, Informatica. • Must have experience in designing and developing highly scalable systems that will handle very large volumes of data globally. • Demonstrated ability to communicate with business analysts/data analysts and technology teams. Experience Preferred: • Experience in data warehouse development, OLAP tools. • Experience of working with the Legal function within an Investment Bank. • Strong IT skills and background, especially in the financial services industry; comfortable with computer based tools, processes and workflows. Skills/Aptitude Required: • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica. • Experience in Sybase, Oracle, SQL server. • Experience in UNIX, Autosys, and Java. • Quick learner; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to attend many tasks simultaneously, with frequently changing priorities. • Must be independent and creative in approach to problems and issues and proactive. • Extremely organized, excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly in documenting code releases. • Highly self-motivated with a confident “do the right thing” attitude. • Able to multi-task and prioritize a demanding and varied workload. • Excellent attention to detail. • Work long hours when required, to communicate with groups in other regions. • Ability to identify, appropriately escalate issues & risks & consider solutions. Description: Develop and implement ETL code and reports in a complex and dynamic data environment, spread across multiple regions to deliver a multi-year Legal program. Will work very closely with key business & data analysts and technology teams. Main Duties Work with the business and data analysts to evaluate data requirements, and propose optimal ETL solutions and delivery approaches that meet those requirements. Conduct additional data analysis as needed to support optimal solution. Work with the development lead to recommend good design, coding and implementation practices. Develop and implement the solution using Informatica using good design standards and practices.
