Cognos BI Consultant Location: VA Duration:6+ JOB DETAILS: Experience developing BI applications in COGNOS BI 8.3 and higher including the following products: IWR, PowerPlay & Enterprise Planning. More than 7 years of overall hands-on experience in Cognos BI development and administration. Expert in data modeling and warehousing More than 5 years of Hands-on with SSIS, including distributed operations and data warehouse ETL process flows. Working knowledge of VB Scripts and other programming languages. Experience with SDK. Experience in migration from 7.2 to 8.3 and higher versions. Web development experience is a plus. More than 3 years of writing queries using SQL Server 2005 - Software development life cycle methodologies and deliverables. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or its equivalent.
