Software Systems Engineer II Greenwood Village, CO 6 months ******US citizens/GC holders or EAD holders ONLY ---- Potential Contract to hire position ******** Prefer Locals. Primary Skill Requirement: Full Life Cycle Developer/Analyst - Sql Server, ASP, ASP.NET (VB), SSRS Description: Plan, design, write, and debug client applications. Work with users from identifying conceptual system requirements through completion. Business analyst skills needed. Designs and codes moderately complex software applications. Strong analytical skills. Design web sites and web based applications, particularly Classic ASP and asp.net (VB) Plan, coordinate, and administer database systems, including base definition, structure, documentation, operational guidelines and protection. Writes codes for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures. Developing the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools needed to migrate this data Required Skills: Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education and work experience is required. Skills required in areas of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 such as Transact-SQL, SQL Reporting Services, Linked Servers, DTS/SSIS packages, SQL Agent jobs, Familiarity with other RDBMS including Oracle, Sybase, Ingres, MySql Other software the applicant should be familiar with include, Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel), Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server Applications (IIS, Terminal Services), Active Directory. Directs quality of entire systems ensuring that the systems meet the needs of the Business Unit through user acceptance testing. Self starter, works well with others, excellent verbal and written communication skills Manage time effectively, and work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a deadline driven environment. Develops and reviews project plans, identifies issues, resolves issues, and communicates status of assigned projects to manager.
