POSITION DETAILS:

Job Title:  Senior Desktop Engineer

Location:  Portsmouth, NH

Targeted Start Date:  ASAP

Length of Assignment:  6 months



*Additional Notes:*  Must have a minimum of 8 years experience and excellent
communication skills.



*PROJECT/POSITION DESCRIPTION:  *



Position will be supporting engineer activity in the Desktop space.



*Requirements: *



Experience working with a Windows Managed Desktop Environment; Windows 2000
and Vista

Proficient with MSI based installers and associated tools; Admin Studio
(Editor, Tuner, Conflict Solver), ORCA

High level of proficiency in VBScript coding with an emphasis on file system
and registry methods

Familiarity with SMS 2003 both Server and Client

Familiarity with Group Policy and Active Directory

At least 3 years experience with troubleshooting L2 and L3 problems in a mid
to large sized environment

Eagerness to rapidly learn new and emerging Desktop applications and
hardware

Experience with HP and Konica printers in a corporate environment a plus
