Position: ORACLE PL/SQL Developer Location: Jacksonville, Florida (Locals only) Duration:6 Months Locals only *Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products *Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) *Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs *Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to technical team and client Job Requirements: *6-10 years PL/SQL Programming, API *Bachelors degree in related business area or equivalent work experience *1 or more years of experience in a technical lead role *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems *Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Advanced experience programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 10G *Advanced experience in Diamond core functionality *Experience with Diamond third party tools preferred (i.e., ClaimCheck, Optimizer, DRG Grouper, APC Pricer) *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (i.e., Clearcase) *Demonstrated experience using a report-writing tool (e.g., Crystal Reports, IQ, etc.) *Healthcare industry knowledge (I would hire without but this very nice to have) *Experience with RUP methodology and Rational tools *Experience using Powerbuilder, TOAD, SQL Navigator Ability to function in a mainframe environment.
