Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Technical Writer Position: 2 Duration: 5 months initially Location: Fort Collins, CO Rate: Competitive Interview: Coming Week Description: - 3-5 years experience writing technical specification for Java and any other Object Oriented technologies. - Good understanding of SOAP and REST Web Services and WSDLs and XML concepts. - Proven experience in writing technical implementation specification and manuals for end users, clients, administrators and developers. - Familiar with API (Application Programming Interface) Specification documentation process. - Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Viso/Star UML(or any other modeling and design tools) - Experience and understanding of Microsoft SharePoint. - Degree in English is a huge plus. - Experience creating graphics using Paintshop pro and/or Photoshop. Education: BA in English, Journalism or Business Communications or any IT related field. Degree or certifications in technical communications preferred. The person will be constantly working with business analyst, project manager, software engineers and business partners and clients to update the specification according to the needs of the project so a high degree of communication skills (both written and spoken) is a must!
