Please shoot the resume to [email protected] with the rate, contact details, current location and visa status *Title: Project Manager - QA* *Location: Santaclara, CA (locals only, F2F mandatory) * *Duration: 3+ Months (may go on for 1 year)* *Rate: Keep it low* * * *GCs/Citizens/EADs* * * *Description:* * * This role is part of the MASH PMO which supports a cross-functional project team including 3 dev and QA teams spanning engineering, IT, and the business. Primary functions include facilitating communications, tracking, managing and reporting on all QA activities across the tracks. This role will also work to develop and track the QA environment management plan, develop and produce a standard set of QA metrics, and lead daily/weekly dev and QA track meetings. This role is for a strong project manager who is a seasoned QA and testing lead. * * *Essential Functions* - Establish and update overall QA plan across tracks. - Lead and facilitate communications between cross functional dev and QA teams. - Work with offshore (India) and onshore dev and QA teams. Lead, facilitate and participate in evening, late evening, and early morning calls (US Pacific time). - Track day to day data load activities to ensure QA and UAT milestones are not at risk. - Align environment management and QA plans. - Create and update a standard set of QA metrics that is useful and meaningful for dev management but also business stakeholders. - Work with dev teams to coordinate planned releases. - Lead daily and weekly QA meeting with dev and QA leads. Measure and review QA progress against plan and uncover any blocking issues or risks. - Prepare - Identify, report, communication (rollup of issues) - Ron: defect tracking and resolution (details of each issue) (SME management) *Requirements*: - 7-10 years experience in QA management, project management (BI, ERP or database solutions) - Extensive project management experience, certification preferred but not required - Experience in developing and reporting on QA metrics for BI, ERP or engineering projects. - Proven experience with SDLC with extensive QA and testing experience. - Excellent communications and analysis skills. Proven ability to understand synthesize QA metrics and present them in an easy to understand way. - Ability to work with multi-cultural teams across multiple time zones and off hours to accommodate India business hours. - Hard working “do what it takes” attitudes; flexibility and § Must be flexible, creative, have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and multi-task with a very fast paced project team.
