Surrounding states to VA candidates eligible Required Skills: - Min. 8-10 yrs of IT Experience - Oracle WebLogic System Administration 3 Years - 3 year experience with web server technology, i.e. Apache Webserver 2.0 - Change Control Process Administration Experience 2 Years - 2 year experience and knowledge of J2EE Application Development & Deployment Practices including EJB, JSP, JNDI, JMS - Working knowledge of Change Control Toolsets (Subverions, ANT Build Scripts) 3 Years - Knowledge of Oracle SOA Suite and ATG technology - Knowledge of Unix / Linux System administration 2 years - 1 year experience of network security including web application security and load balancing by using F5 Big IP technology - 1 year experience of web application monitoring tools, i.e. Sitescope More Job Description: - Architect, manage, deploy and support WebLogic J2EE applications - Lead efforts to identify and document technical standards for WebLogic implementations - Support new web application deployments, scheduling and supporting system upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting application issues - Define, review and document platform security requirements - Responsible for setting up, configuring, supporting and managing the WebLogic environment to ensure system reliability - Provides technical expertise on integration/configuration of peripheral infrastructure with WebLogic including permission management, LDAP, database, middleware and web servers - Coordinate platform infrastructure needs for partner integrations - Coordinate web platform infrastructure changes - Participate in the technical design, implementation and deployment phases of the lifecycle - Coordinate change control process for production releases - Manage source control infrastructure - Manage Bug Tracking Software - Define and Manage Web Application build processes - Assist in the non- production deployment processes Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Task 1: Define, Implement and Manage web infrastructure roadmap. Deliverables: - Web Infrastructure Capacity Planning Document - Deployment Architecture Document - Buy vs Build Position Documentation - AFE Documentation Cost inputs Task 2: Perform system and web application administration of non- production web environments. Define, Implement and Manage application deployment strategies for new Client Implementation. Communicate with production facilities to enable deployment of web applications to production.
