*Job Title-Warehouse Management Experts (WMS)*

Location: Memphis, TN

Duration- 6 Months +

*Job Description:*

Our client is looking for someone with Warehouse Management Experts (WMS)
experience. They have to have Manhattan WMS. They need to know Manhattan WMS
fairly well, and be able to write SQL interface to an Oracle database.  WMS
Open Series, or I-Series is also needed.  Client has a Open Series
installation, but will work with candidates with only I-Series exp.

* Skills Requires- Manhattan WMS, SQL, Oracle*

Looking for someone with:

- Good Base knowledge of Manhattan software (right now they have Open Series
/ I-Series 2006)

- Be able to look at their tables behind the scenes and track problems

- Good testing software skills

- Help with process review

- They are looking to upgrade to 2009 or 2010 (need someone to help they
determine that changes that need to be made)

- Someone that can help them with Troubleshooting

- Take care of software changes that Manhattan is trying to make for them/
bug fixes where they will release an SDM and they will have to test. So this
person will help test SDM’s

- Someone who is knowledgeable is general warehousing practice

- Someone that can recommend process changes to make things better

 *- Senior Programmer Analyst, strong on Manhattan Associates' Warehouse
Management System WM (PKMS) modules (Inbound / Outbound / Transportation
Execution (TE)). In-depth knowledge of WM (PkMS) system/process flow and the
technical standards. I can design and develop custom modules conform to WM
System standards.*

*- Senior Programmer Analyst, strong on EDI applications
development/maintenance on iSeries (AS/400) for all Retail standard EDI
documents (such as 832, 850, 855, 860, 856, 211, 810, 820, 852 etc.) using
TrustedLink V6.1 (Inovis) and Gentran in X.12, VICS standards.

- Several years of experience in Apparel and Retail business systems, Supply
Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics Execution (LE).*

*Position: Senior Programmer Analyst*
*Worked on projects to implement Warehouse Management  System WM 2004R2
(PKMS) and interfaced WM with  JAG’s new SAP AFS  System. As a technical
resource in WM team, designed and developed several custom programs on WM
system, for example Cycle Count custom modules, custom On-Hand Inventory
Inquiry/eMail spread-sheet report, and applications to compare data between
WM and SAP such as Daily Shipped units, Daily Receipts, Credit Memo
interface for Returns, Inventory Sync with the Host system etc. Main areas
of responsibility on WM Inbound modules are Inbound ASNs processing,
Receiving and Putaway, Quality Assurance (QA), Work Orders and Bill of
Material, Inventory Management (Inventory Movement, Cycle Count and Physical
Inventory), PIX processing to the Host system. Supported Outbound modules
such as Wave Processing, Routing maintenance, Picking and Packing, Shipping
and Loading (including Parcel Shipments). Worked on Material Handling
Equipment (MHE), including Conveyor systems, Conveyor sorters, and Pick To
Light (PTL) systems interface to WM.  Worked on data interface and
management tasks such as WM Servers (Interface to the Host system),
Rebuilds, Purges etc. Responsible for WM system Issues/Solution Analysis on
both Inbound and Outbound modules. Worked on Analysis and prepared
specifications documentation on custom enhancements to the base WM modules,
coordinated with the software vendor Manhattan Associates (MA) to get the
required base enhancements/fixes. Responsible for User Acceptance Test
coordination, SOX compliance documentation, objects promotion into
production using the Change Management tools ALDON and Test Director.
Analyzed and provided technical resolution for any issues reported from
day-to-day operations. As a member of  WM team, responsible for WM
configuration to take care of business rules and warehouse operational
requirements. Participated in WM team meetings and provided my input on
business solution / resolution to the team on several projects during my
tenure at JAG. On rolling basis provided off-hours support for any WM issues
during evening hours and week-end.  The software tools used at this facility
are ILE RPG, RPG Free,  SQL, CLP, Hawkeye, ALDON, Test Director etc.*
